I love learning about anything that would allow me to live off the land. That is why I love gardening, homebrewing, arts and crafts and cooking. I also love being out doors and traveling by foot, air, water, or bus. If I could have any job it would be travel writer. There is no place I would not go. my favorite: Sakurajima

I am always dancing or singin. That's why my nickname became boogie. I dance down the trail of life. I also sing myself to sleep and sing myself awake. I like to sing made up songs and songs inspired from the likes of: Kate Wolf, Dromedary, Beatles, Talib Kweli, Bjork, Overtakers, Snake Oil Medicine Show, Yonder Mountain String Band, Cat Stevens, and John Saylor whose melodies are like melted cheese on your brain. Sun Kil Moon and the Magnetic Fields have been my soundtrack for the past few weeks. I think it's this new phase of life I am moving into.
I love John Waters movies and always have. I watched Cry Baby repetively in middle school. A Dirty Shame is hilarious. Charlie Kaufman flicks(Human Nature, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Being John Malcovich), Foreign Films and Documentaries: Pumpkin, Anna, Cuckoo, Under the Sun, Potluck, Canibal the Musical,Sin City,Tie me up tie me down, The Guru, 50 first dates, Pulp Fiction, Singing in the Rain, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Citizen King, The Celluloid Closet, The Times of Harvey Milk, The Aristocrats, countryman and Riki-Oh: The story of Ricky!!!!!!!!!! New additions: Secretary, Harold and Maude, Freestyle: the art of Rhyme, Rize, Everything is Illuminated, The unbearable lightness of being. All of these moveis are worth watching and have taught me something new about myself. Except maybe Riki-Oh which is just ass kicking at it's finest.
