On guitar, he has been performing live since he was 13 years old. 10 of which have been with groundbreaking and multi award winning Austin band Damesviolet who was managed by Mark Proct, Mike Regan and Bridget Baur. Zak released 3 records with Damesviolet. Recorded an E.P. and a Record with Alpha Rev, has also played on alot of other records for artist. Thanks to his talented multiple best guitarist nominations, Zak has been fortunate to have a successful career, being a part of 7 U.S. tours with performances at many notable venues including The Viper Room and The Knitting Factory. He has played festivals along with and or opened up for The Black Crowes, Blues Traveler, Lit, Dishwalla, Blue October, Bush, Days of the New, Edwin McCain, Avril Lavigne, Ok Go, Mat Kearney, Vast, The Dreaming, Tantric, Great White and many more..
