Well...I'm Heath. A father to Julian, a husband to Julissa and a musician....
I love nothing more than time with my family and friends and a guitar in my hand....
Here's a short bio on the music side of things:
Since early 2000, Heath Clark has been playing guitar in the popular Austin, Texas rock band Vallejo. The band released Into The New on Epic/Crescent Moon that very year (produced by Michael Barbiero). Vallejo went on to tour with such bands as Fuel, Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Live, STP as well as Latin acts Juanes and Molotov.
In 2004, Vallejo scored a ..1 single with So Damn Beautiful (performed by Michael Murphy) in New Zealand which they co-wrote with producer Chris Rodriguez. Heath has recorded three other albums with Vallejo and the band continues to tour heavily.
Heath Clark began playing guitar at age 12 in Beaumont, Texas. Coming from a long line of family musicians, it was inevitable that Heath would someday follow in his relatives footsteps. He was raised on country and rock, listening to everything from Hank to Seger and Hendrix to Van Halen, and even watching his uncles perform in small bars around the South. With such talent all around him, it wasn't long until Heath himself began figuring out music by ear.
Heath originally moved to Austin at age 19 with his native Beaumont band, Sunflower; who released two independent albums and toured the southern US for five years. Heath also stayed busy doing freelance performing and recording with such acts as Barbara K (Timbuk 3) and Kitty Gordon (formerly of The Borrowers), before joining Vallejo.
In 2006, Heath Clark toured nationally with Bo Bice and Sugarmoney in support of Bo's "The Real Thing". TV appearances include: MTV TRL, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Regis and Kelly.
