I have learnt to embrace life to the fullest, taking all lives challenges as sign post, to my fulfilment, which comes when I arrive at my goal. I want to touch and teach people that come into contact with me that nothing is impossible, you can achieve whatever you put your mind to the only thing stopping you is YOU...I make this bold statement to you its base on my own lifetime experiences. I had to decide what I was prepared to accept and what I was GOING to decline, not allowing access to me, to prevent my growth in life. I stood my ground in this, by not selling myself short of what I truly deserve in life...I knew that hindrance would come to delay the process of my journey, but I also knew, nothing can stop what is rightfully mine unless I give it access to me, by my unbelief, not believing in MYSELF and not standing on the word of God for my life...My story I am going to share with you is one of determination and faith, refusing to let go of my dream, even when everyone was saying otherwise. I worked for the Local Government for fourteen years, and was made redundant, I felt this was the window of opportunity for me to change my direction and become an Image Consultant. I believe the greatest quality on earth is the willingness to become and achieve whatever your heart desire, I applied the leading company in this field and was turn down, I was told I lack the skill and experience for this industry. I saw this as a minor setback, I had to take another route to accomplish my dream, and so I entered the industry as a beauty therapist and make-up and qualified in these fields...Then crisis hit, I was plunge into the desert of my life living on what was my petty cash to support my family; this period of my life lasted a long seven years. But it was a very important time of my life I was able to grow in wisdom and understanding, I appreciate moreover who I had become as a person. I did not allow my environment to change mine true character and belief. In this place of learning, I realised how very naive I had been in my life, I trusted everyone, I believed everything someone would tell me I had no reason not too I judged people by my own standard, I was unaware some people wasn't as honest and truthful as they would lead me to believe...I experienced a lot of hurt, as revelation and realisation were revealed to me, I made myself more available to God, He become my teacher, I learnt how to pray long hours, I become a prayer warrior, I was a warrior that wasn’t afraid of the battle field that soon becoming my home. Moreover In the same token, I received the peace of God, I was healed to my roots, being fully restored in parts. It was only later God revealed to me, me...The hurt I carried with me was so deep, it took an unique situation to open the door I closed off to my conscious mind, the prayers, I prayed was to be broken down and grinded down to powder, in order to be rebuilt again for His glory. I wanted to be made whole, a vassal of honour that would give God honour every day of my life, in service to Him. When I encounter people they would know and could see Gods grace, Gods glory upon mine life, and want to hear about the God I serve. But I needed to let go of deep hurt I had experience, I was harbouring these hurts unknown to me... I had to be separated as I grew sooner to God but found myself returning to past acquaintances, later I realised I had soul-ties that needed to be addressed in prayer, controlling spirit that needed to destroyed by prayer. I wanted to break every generation curse so my children and I could be free. I learnt that Crisis is merely concentrated information if you look hard enough; I was only interested in the foundation of my life, the ROOT. No root is willing to come up without a fight and I knew I wasn’t giving up until my life glorified God in all areas. I received my assignment for my life in a vision, whilst in prayer with this; I knew my life would be surrounded with warfare; I could not afford or permit any doorways to exist in my life. I believe losers focus on what they are going through, while champions focus on what they are going too, my eyes is fixed on Jesus Christ. He delivered me out of them all, He told me in bible school Philippians 1:6 and later as I grew Job23:10. God always confirms His words...An opportunity presented itself and I was put in a position to start my own business, Image Consultancy. I needed to be trained in the industry doors were closing all around, those I spoke to said I should stick to what I already knew and qualified in, but the Holy Spirit was telling me something else. I turned to the most unlikely source for funding, the Job Centre, I prepared a business case, with a supporting business plan. What the Holy Spirit led me to do was not heard of; The Job Centre doesn’t support paying for you to be trained privately and not in the industry that I was asking for funding. The answer come back within three days Stamp of Approval and not only did they pay for me to be trained as an Image Consultant privately, I received funding to be trained to Corporate level privately too. The total cost £4.000 plus travel expenses and childcare expenses. My promotion had Gods stamp of approval all over it...I held onto my dream, I never let go of it, even when all was against me. I have learnt on this journey I deserve to have good mentors to guide me. I deserve to have good mentors that would see the capability, the talent and skills within me, and would help me to bring it to maturity. I deserve to have mentors that can massage into my spirit what I need to know to accomplish my goals in life. I deserve to have likeminded people around me, so we can encourage each other...It is so easy to get caught up in being who others want you to be. It is even easier to convince yourself that who you are is enough. If you are not careful and conscious, you can spend a good part of your life acting out roles and expectations rather than living, who you are. "Who am I?" Is the question I start the day with? For some of us, it is a frightening question. To know who you are means you must move beyond the names and labels. It means you must shake off restrictions and limitations. To know you, is to love and accept yourself as divine children of God. To know "Who I am" means having no more excuses. The trees with the strongest branches and deepest roots are those that have withstood the heavy winds and stormy weather, season after seasons...I learnt you must never become tired of reaching, stretching, growing and becoming better and better. Our elders called it “moving from glory to glory!" I learnt you must always keep in mind that the more you can do, the more you will be called upon...Dear God, Please remind me that my days are numbered. Teach me that my time on earth is precious so that I will not waste it. Help me to recognize how precious every moment is so that I spend it doing those things that will bring me closer to you. I pray that you will be present in my thoughts, my words, and all of my deeds. I ask that every moment that I have left be a channel through which some measure of your love and light may reach those with whom I come into contact, In Matchless Name of Jesus Christ.
