6. On The Ethereal Plane
Ice Cream Social brings the rock on their 3rd release, and 2nd EP, "Way Into Gold." Produced by Buffalo's lost (to Arizona) love Fen Ikner (of Knife Crazy fame), This is their fullest and best sounding effort to date. Lead singer and lyricist, Tom Ballou writes of dead girls, epic battles between good and evil, cats, and farming. The re-recording of Kitten/Butterfly, their first full length's title track, kicks the tempo and the energy up and best embodies the spirit of their live performance. Think The Decemberists with keyboards instead of strings and horns.

What her page's visitors heard was raw passion that lacked any sort of pretense or insincerity. Rebecca is much more than the average "girl with a guitar" act, captivating audiences wherever she picks up a guitar and starts to sing.
This is Whaleplane's most ornately designed album to date, featuring a hand painted cover. Get 'em while the paint's still wet!
For fans of: Ani DiFranco (if only because they're both passionate females playing guitars), Page France, Bright Eyes

In September 2006, Chris "Bogme" Elsbree was inspired. A muse by the name of Ralph "Bucky" Phillips visited him late one night and he was from then on constantly pursuing his side project, when not spending hours practicing percussion in Mason Hall or playing in the new fredonia "it" band Longitude. At first he had a song. Aptly titled "Bucky." He then decided to record a demo EP.
Fast forward to Winter break of this past year. A song entitled "While We Watch and Wait" popped up on www.myspace.com/bogme and the world was never the same again. Bogme had a hemorrhage of creativity that never quit until it manifested itself into the finished project that is "...And Friends"

1. The Mountain Pass Is Out
2. The Trials and Tribulations of the Grasshopper

4. Hip Hop Anonymous
Longitude is made up of four boys who didn't expect to be where they are just a short time ago. They play music because nothing makes them happier, and it shows. Don't call it math rock, because it's much less difficult to listen to than all of that.
