Now let me see... since I should give you some info about myself... let me start here:
I was born in The Hague, Holland, back in august 1954. Always had a crush on music since I was a baby.
Moved to Switzerland, near Lugano, in the middle of the seventies, where I soon fell in love with the Jazz Festival "Estival Jazz Lugano". I didn't miss an appontment since the very beginning, way back in 1977, featuring Archie Shepp, a sort of pre-festival. Estival Jazz Lugano grew, and now it's facing the 30st edition on the 27th of June! The new programm will soon be available, just follow this link:

I've got some other passions too, one of them is the passion for cats ... but I became a catlover rather late in my life: at almost 40! All because of a 1 year old foundling, which we called Bluesy, 'cause she really mewed her misery out when we found her, she was so... Bluesy! Now the cats are 3, all foundlings! Chea - the leading character of my profile - and Black-out have been adopted 11 and 4 years ago. So now you know why my nick is jazzzcat. Since jazzcat was already token, I had to put one more Z in my nick!

Another of my passions concerns collecting: I collect hippo's in all sorts of materials, from every corner of the world!
