Le chansons qu'on peut ecouter dans ce space sont totally improvised, from a certain point of view. But this is not our point of view. Unsere Meinung ist das there are composing practices that are not necessarily concerning sheets, or scales, or any other musical grammar device. The choice of the instruments, the role each instrument assumes (or defies), the complete openness to density and communication, disregarding misleading features such as pulse, harmony, or even beauty (i.e. goodsounding, fancy phrasing and soloing), eating pizza at Le Gnoccone der Quadraro's before playing, the courage to shift wildly the sound scenery or to juxtapose layers of different atmospheres and time signatures (including no signature at all) in the same fucking moment, all these are composing strategies, no less than writing all notes on a piece of paper. Thus said, we like written music as well, and if some of us feels like quoting Vivaldi or Morricone (see Track II) as well as The Melvins or Meshuggah (see ...damn it, we didn't record it...maybe next time, when we'll get into "I wanna rock'n'roll all night", or something), it is welcome. We are currently working to build a place all of our own, to develop our chemistry and see where it may lead.
