Predictably, Le-Tetsuo met at art school in autumn 2002, and began having sweaty, drunken rehearsals. Their most noteworthy gigs have occured in the front rooms of house parties, where they play too loudly through small, broken amplifiers and fall over a lot.
Recordings to date can be loosely grouped into three EP length sessions:
'I Understand If You Speak Slowly' (7" from www.howlbackhum.co.uk) was recorded at the Sickroom a while back now. Then there's a CD you can buy at gigs with some attractive origami dogs on the cover, recorded in a barn in Swainesthorpe in summer 2005. The most recent stuff was recorded at Purple, 2006. You might also be able to pick this up at a gig.
After some coveted radio one airtime, gigs in the netherlands and all over London, this year Le Tetsuo are looking to bring their spiky weird shouty-shouty 2 minute thrash pop songs to the people. Lovely anonymous viewer– That means you!
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
