About Me

teknikov may in fact have the dubious distinction of being the most overqualified band in Norwich (academically, not musically). almost all the members of teknikov play all the instruments, more or less. it makes more sense to list what each band member doesn't play; Joe (not drums), Chad (not drums), Tony (not singing) Matt (not guitar). renowned for playing the "worst ever" set at Truck Festival in 2003 (despite someone e-mailing John Peel to say they were their fave band of the weekend) a 65% change of personel saw immeasurable improvement by Truck 2006, where one discerning reviewer described teknikov as evincing "the sound of a twenty-five year old wasp synthesiser. Or possibly just the sound of a twenty-five year old wasp. a niggling buzzing noise overlaying a spunky post-punk rhythm of ranting jerky dissonance.. Fall funk fodder for a Vacuous Pop frat party"?yes please___ no thank you___
