If you like bluegrass and rock'n'roll...

About Me

Love of bluegrass and roots music often brings players together...we all play other kinds of music in other kinds of styles with other kinds of people but we all love the simple pure joy of music, so get together at random times in random forms just to play it.

This music can be played many different ways, but we decided early on to eschew the flashy speedy stuff and just play it direct and simple...you won't hear Jimi Hendrix style banjo here, nor faux over-emotional vocals, just bluegrass music played genteel and dandy and raucous jugband skiffle n'blues. We certainly hope you like it this way!

We play lots of classics from the mists of time, and write a few ourselves...strictly in the old tradition, but finding new things to talk about. new whistles to blow.

We've played live a few times around Liverpool, bringing wonky roots music into venues more used to hard rock and electro music and found a receptive audience for the good, good stuff. Occasionally eating catfood on stage hasn't hurt either! Mostly, we just enjoy getting together to play, pass a spliff and a song!
