BELLOR

Bellor (pronounced BELL-LORE), Latin word for to wage war,
is a Christian War Metal band out of the foothills of Eastern
Kentucky. The battlefield lies in putting on the Armor of God
and the band's willingness to stand up for the holy trinity:
God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. They bring a message worth
fighting for: the Word of God (the Holy Bible) and the body of
Christ (Christians to unite as a whole).
The band is reaching out within the Metal arena with their music
as a ministry, a way of life, and above all showing glory to God.
With themes of spiritual warfare, friends conquered in man made
philosophies, to the chains of addictions and battles with personal
demons; their prayer is to open the closed eyes of this hopeless
generation and to leave a message for the future:
"Not all things are without love in human nature and
the authority of the Lord. There is a hope and the darkness is a
cup to fill with Christ's saving blood."

Bellor members are former band mates of Seven Rise Up and
Simeon. Simeon was a short lived for Nat and Cynthia Handloser
as well as Nick Savage. Jason Johnson and and Anthony Fraley of
Seven Rise Up received moderate success to where their music still
sells online and distros. Seven Rise Up was stalled then had to end
by paths separating off in different directions. Nat and Nick played
with a few other bands (Tears of Bloodshed, western KY fans may
recall Nat as lead vocalist for this band) and found that joining in
with Anthony and Jason would be good for them and their ministry
to reach out to Metal fans together.
We wanted an eclectic sound that all types of fans could enjoy for
We all like different styles of music and have very preferred tastes.
Now after adding new members, we are fine tuning our songs for
shows, and recording. We, being blessed in many different ways,
have a good start for this ministry with a strong church home and
fellowship in Prestonsburg. Months of struggle leads way to good
times and a more challenging time for us to incorporate and pre-
pare our brothers for what awaits us. Bellor has begun to record
our efforts one song at a time. The over all sound grows slowly
into a Power Metal and a Black Metal vein, accompanied by some
Folk and Death Metal undertones. The vision is taking shape and
only God knows what our futures hold and will reveal it in His own
due time.
