Since birth, music has called her name.In 2005, Jhai landed a spot in The Atlantic Records presents “The series†artist showcase. She performed an original and won. She caught the eye of several local producers. The win led to an introduction of producers and engineers who worked with artist like Lil' Mo, Genuwine, and who also mixed records for hip hop artists like Freeway from Rock-a-fella Records and numerous other artists in the business. While working with them she laid background vocals for “Hollywood," member of R&B group “Prophet Jones,†local DC Rap Group “Checkmateâ€, and several other local artists in the area.Standing nearly 5’9†at a slim 125lbs, she was also invited to model for an Atlanta based Hair Magazine Metro Style, published in 2006.Jhai was featured in the film "Made For Each Other" starring Dan and Chris Masterson due out in 2009 and she was also featured as a dancer in "Step up 2 the Streets" due out February 14, 2008.On December 15, 2007, in front of a sold out crowd of 20,000 fans at the Verizon Center in Washington DC, Jhai performed a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem for the NBA's Washington Wizards vs. Sacramento Kings game. She received a standing ovation. She also performed the National Anthem at the Championship Game for DC's 1st Annual Stars And Stripes Baseball Tournament on July 5, 2008.The singer/songwriter/model/actress professes, “This is my purpose.
