Kourtney is a classically trained singer with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts degree (concentration in music) from Bowie State University and a professional dancer, instructor and choreographer. In 2006, toured with the stage play The Man of Her Dreams, initially as a female understudy and background vocalist for the play. Soon after, was featured in the roles of Erica and Louise, performing alongside actors Clifton Powell (Ray, Woman Thou Art Loosed, etc.), Jackee Harry (of 227 and Sister-Sister, etc.), and award winning recording artists Shirley Murdock, Musiq Soulchild, and Ralph Tresvant (formerly of New Edition). In 2007, toured with the stage play Soul Kittens Café as the lead character Brandy; Performing alongside Tatiyana Ali (Fresh Prince of Bel Air), R&B recording artists Angie Stone and Syleena Johnson, and comedian Trent Roberts. In 2007, won best female vocalist representing the Eastern Region for the 'This Christmas Singing Competition", sponsored by entertainer/singer Chris Brown; Performed on BET's 106 & Park. In 2008, opened for Fantasia Burrino at club Avenue in Washington DC.
