Travis

There is some tail that you don't want to chase.

About Me

This is how I roll
I am vegetarian (6 years now)
I listen to NPR.
I own more backpacks than shoes.
I am a very open minded person with a consistently evolving viewpoint on other people, cultures, places and the world. I like to soak in all the facts and then make informed educated decisions based on everything that I know. I am also aware that occasionally you don't need to know everything, some things just aren't right.
Some people stereotype my viewpoint as a Liberal. This is an easy classification that makes others think that they know me. If you want to do that, go for it. We all like to simplify our lives sometimes.

My Interests

I am really into doing things.

I'd like to meet:

People who want to explore the outdoors.

Music:

Yea, music is cool.

Movies:

I have a varied taste in movies. If you want to know more become my "friend" on Netflix.
Currently I am on a foreign film kick.
Recomendations
Chaos, 2001
Autumn Spring
The Bicycle Thief
Alias, Betty
Amelie
Cinema Paradiso
Il Postino
The Dinner Game

so many more...

Television:

not a big fan, don't own one.

Books:

I like books a lot. I am pretty hooked on Kurt Vonnegut's stuff right now.

Heroes:

Gandhi and the 14th Dalai Lama. Men of great courage and moral fortitude who took on the obstacle of human nature through their promotion of non-violent solutions to conflict.
