I have a few primary ambitions that I would like continue with including: becoming a better rock-climber and mountain biker, learning Italian, taking additional glass blowing classes, reading more for self-improvement, writing more for self-fulfillment, and getting more outdoors just since it's on the Job training.
Some of my other interests/hobbies that I continue to enjoy include: futbal (soccer), hiking, snowboarding, sand volleyball, tennis, TX Hold'em & simply spending time listening 2 music.
Practically speaking just new friends with similar interests or people that might turn me onto new hobbies........
The order is not that important except the top: Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals......and the rest are just too close to rank: Modest Mouse, Gomez, Iron & Wine, Muse, Jack Johnson, Guster, Blackalicious, Pinback, Mogwai, Travis, G. Love and the Special Sauce, Jackopierce, Dashboard Confessionals, Dispatch, John Mayer, Gavin DeGraw, Billy Bragg, Looper, Basement Jaxx, Busta Ryhmes, The Roots, Jurassic 5, Wyclef Jean, Saul Williams, Common, The Streets, Sia, Cat Power, Dido, Fiest, Nelly Furtado, Norah Jones, Audioslave, A Perfect Circle, Chevelle, Otis Redding, Ella Fitzgerald, RL Burnside, Tool, Chevelle, Joshua Ralph/ The Rumor Mill, Zero 7, Explosions in the Sky, Spoonfed Tribe, triple-A, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Five Eight, Dead60s, Pavement, Seven Mary Three, U2, Sebadoh, Seam, David Usher, David Garza, Fatboy Slim, Moby, Doosu, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah,.....alright enough for now
hmm The Princess Bride, Donnie Darko, Twelve Monkeys, Stigmata, Boondock Saints, True Romance, Sliding Doors are some favorites that come to mind. I like dramatic movies that make you think some during 'em in particular but can always appreciate a good comedy or well done action movie.
Stop staring at the boob tube!
Always left halfway done......Going to Pieces without Falling Apart, No Shortcuts to The Top, American Gods, The Sun also Rises, How to Trad Climb
No real role models come to mind but I guess generally speaking my heros include anyone who creates art from nothing whether it be musically, theatrically or through other medias. People who also try and do whats right/ good for others even when that means sacrificing/ comprising some of their own needs or aspirations for the common 'Karma-tic' good.
