About Me

Ok, so I guess "7:03 mile" quote is a little dated. Um, yeah, try 6:53/miles in crappy winter rain and wind! Still no training. Just nice brisk runs at dawn after killing a 750ml of jack and a quart of red bull. Breakfast of champions. I'm thinking good genetics and a high tolerance for pain still help though.
"Is you is, or is you ain't, my constituency? "
Thanks everyone for being such a great group of friends. I encourage all of my close friends to sign up, but only you brave souls (or in the case of Kappa Soul, you internet playas) have made the effort to enjoy the witty banter and social connections this site encourages. For that I give you a "HIGH FIVE".About me, I'm a 30 year OLD Texan born and raised. Spent the last 12 years moving from Dallas to San Antonio, to Houston to Nashville to Chicago and even Hong Kong to finish my MBA. I moved back to Dallas to be closer to my family, restart my career and of course, raise my special brand of hell. This includes tormenting bartenders in Uptown, Addison and of course, Lower Greenville. Oh, and as the Oracle claims, to find that special "One". Not sure if I will find her at the Loon, but you never know. Britt thinks Jags might work as well. I told him, depends on the night. Now I know, some of my closest friends will hate on Dallas. But come on people, I have traveled across the US and in some cases, to corners of the world to hang out. If you come to Dallas to party and visit your old friend Justice, I know you'll leave here happy and relaxed with a touch of tired and hungover. Believe me, Social Director Trent W. has it covered. And if that doesn't entice you, the chance to get "Cooked" by Chris, should definitely motivate you to take a trip. Ask Tri, Layne, James et al to verify this. I mean, the F'in ZAZA, Javiers, and then Candleroom. That has to be quality.Oh, and my update for 2008...I have a fantastic girlfriend named Cyd who makes me laugh everyday. And she keeps me sane which if you know me, is a difficult thing to do.
Had to add this quote. Seems perfect: "I always tried to turn every disaster into an opportunity. "JD Rockefeller

I'd like to meet:

"You're right to the edge or past the edge of what you're capable of. You'd like to be slowing down, but it's almost like a free fall. You're in a zone, not willing to throw out the parachute. You're still looking for speed even though you're well past your comfort zone. If you're the best in the world and you're still pushing your limits at that level, it's pretty cool." - Bode M.

Anyone, everyone...whoever has something to say or a story to tell. I've always been open to new shit. Try to top some of the stories I can remember and those that Layne and my friends fill me in about. Some of my greatest times are because of the people I've met through my travels. Living large is all about testing the boundaries of your comfort zone and encountering new folks.Bottom Line, Bring it.

So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
