I started singing in church at the age of 5 in Ottawa Kansas. I knew this would be my passion in life because it felt so good. I grew up digging on Tennesse Ernie Ford and Nat King Cole at that time . I remember hearing 16 tons when I was just about that same age. My mother Glacia was deep into Nat as well and played his music everyday. I was never the same after all that. I played in bands all through Junior High and High School playing at local dances and roller rinks. I spent most of my days playing in garages with my friends. I started vocal lessons in high school and then studied opera which led me to 2 years of college in Fayette Missouri at the Swinney Conservatory Of Music majoring in operatic voice. after 2 years of that I decided that it was time to move on and do what moved me the most which was performing live. Spent time in Sacramento California playing and then moved to South Dakota where I spent the next 7 years playing country rock and rhythm and blues with a band called R&B Supply. After that I moved to Omaha Nebraska where I spent 18 yrs with an 8 piece horn band called The Might Jailbreakers. We did some recording and touring for the last 8 years of the bands existance. Since then I have moved on to Las Vegas Nevada where I reside now. Blues has been my passion since a very young age and it keeps me alive and free. a place I truly want to be.....
