About Me

I am Cuspington Rusper, consultant to the camp and professional camp exorcist. I exist to exorcise the camp gene from those unwillingly afflicted and attempt to restore them to their full manly vigour. My professional clients include Bartwick Lampwick III, one of the renowned Schooner Boys who was slipped a potion by his wicked Uncle James (of Dr Poo Poo and Mr Jim infamy).
I feel that my service provides a certain reassurance to those who find themselves a-flouncing and a-pouting for reasons unknown.
Being a Southern Dandy, and a likkle one at that, I am often the subject of intrigue and romantic dashings. Many a young lady has been most insistent that I climb their frame, even with my poor withered limb, and do the Dixie on them. I have to explain that I am a gentlemen.
You can hear more of me as I am one of the principal players in the afore-mentioned camp episode involving Bartwick Lampwick. The Schooner Boys captured this whole bag of tomfoolery in their radio play 'Camp Gene', now available as a podcast. To hear the podcast Click here
You may also like to check out episodes from my late-night series 'Thoughts of Cusp', as I was kindly commissioned by those good people, real good people at Cheambeat Communications Radio.

I'd like to meet:

Fat guts, sorry that should be Fat Guys and their equally rotound good lady wives. I am currently studying to learn how to press my gifted palms on their mountains of flesh and reduce them, reduce them real good.

Music:

Burl Ives, Dixie Jazz and, since hearing them, those lively pantaloons The Schooner Boys with their a-tootin and carousing country holler!
br? But to be honest folks, the best band in the world are from Jacksonville, Florida and they go by the name of BLISTUR! My, do they rock! Ole Cusp certainly shakes a calliper when they come on ipod.

Movies:

The Ugly Bug Ball (not a film but a scene, featuring the incomparable Burl Ives).

Hey it's me with those musical funsters the Schoonies Boys in a real life documentary, this happened, it's actual, re-imagined animatedly by good friend Charlie Hope Springs Eternals. Great Stuff.

Television:

Oh fie, who watches TV these days?

However there are the o'cassional x'ceptions!
Spooky Hollow Halloween 2007

Also here is part of a recent simulcast of a 'Thoughts of Cusp' episode entitled 'A Night Out in London', though Lester only recorded the first few minutes and last few minutes of it. The full radio version is available through ccradio PODCASTS and right here on my page...look over there on the right there...sees it...that's it..you got it!.

Me and Christmas, that's "CUSP AT CHRISTMAS" the tv version.

Books:

My very own 'How to consult your camp inner child'; 'On the parade ground with Sgt Rock' - hilarious escapades with the militarized mincer from the UK Broken beats and be-bop scene

Heroes:

The incomparable Burl Ives,
and I like Elephants, I like their trunks, I like them real good - southern fried style (oh I'm joshing you, I don't REALLY eat them!)
