About Me

"And in a city of three million, two hundred sixty-nine thousand, nine hundred eighty-four... Everyone was lonely." -- Dan Bern

My Interests

The music industry; independent artists; late Victorian architecture; String Theory; the Holy Roman Empire (that's right… neither holy, nor Roman, nor an empire); Ancient Sumarians; Japanese film; www.Amnesty.org; gothic culture; backcountry hiking; biblical anomalies; American pit bull terriers; Catastrophism; deathrock; late 70s punk; post-punk; Delta blues; German reunification; the 80s; Social Ecology; the psychology of war; alternative fuel; Elizabethan theatre; survival horror; real-time strategy; Tax evasion (just making sure you're paying attention ;)
Yup... that about sums it up.

I'd like to meet:

I'm an open mind and don't have any stringent criteria for friends. However. I submit the following: NO LIARS, NO DRUG ADDICTS, NO NARCISSISTS, NO MISANTHROPES. Simple, eh?
BANDS: I don't mind band requests. If you're rock, punk, post-punk, horror punk, deathrock, darkwave, dark-electronic, or local to Seattle, shoot me a line. Of course if I denied fewer than 90% of them, I'd have 10,000 "friends" like everybody else. So I'm somewhat selective. The bands on my profile either a) are affiliated with SINister Records , or b) are those I truly feel deserve to be heard.
Oh and please no clowns or ventriloquists. You scare the shit out of me (nothing personal). Thanks.
