104.7FM The Rocket is a small broadcast radio station located in Enid, Oklahoma. Northwest of Oklahoma City.
We have just beat the crap out of every other local yocal radio station in the area playing what we want! We are a member of the Pacifica Radio Network, BBC London, and stations around the world pick up our radio stream in High Definition quality to re-broadcast some of our radio shows and specials.
Just last year, we teamed up with a radio station in Colorado for a live simulcast of the debut of Joe Cocker's new CD and an in studio interview. Kind of a radio first. And Last February 2, we brought Tommy Tutone to Enid to celebrate my birthday. And on March 29th, we celebrated Jim Dandy's Birthday with a show and party with Black Oak Arkansas (It was absolutely amazing).
Great syndicated locally produced shows, like The Mysterious Hours of Dr Fear on Sunday nights at 8pm Central. Followed by Johnny loathing with Heavy Metal and cover songs with an attitude. During the days, Scott(thats me) And ANITAare on from 7 till 9am visiting with Bob Birch our on-line reporter and co-host from the UK.
SHIRLEY Q LIQUOR joins in with words of wisdom from the projects, Dave in the Radio Shopping Club, Vernon Wormgear, owner of the 16 story Wormgear Mall always has a special, andTV Boy Dave, The Gospel Weather Choir, Seth Shaft and tons of insanity with our weather and race reporter

During racing season, we have one of the most listened to Racing Talk Shows on the web and on the Rocket, With SPEEDWAY MADNESS. And good classic rock, mixed with some of today's best new music and indie artists. Live interviews, insanity, community and world information, and natural health.
We are advocates for freedom of speech..! We're Convinced that big media sucks and leans the wrong way, and carry BBC or Pacifica Newscasts, cause they tell you the other side of the story too.
It all started out as a lark, got locally big, hit the internet just so we could stream to our Hi-Def Radio broadcast equipment, you found us and now we are out of control.
