Ritchie Leonard Laird (Born 28/08/1953 Melbourne Australia). As a very young Guitarist, I was influenced by Jimmy Hendrix, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and then came the new wave, Ritchie Blackmore, Carlos Santana, Pink Floyd, Doobie Bros, Uriah Heep, Led Zepplin, Eagles, Black Sabath, and many more. aussie bands, Thorpie (RIP), Dragon, AC DC, lobbie loyde (RIP) and so on.all these had such an influence on me as I learned more and more. you will find all sorts of influences in my music.I play a lot of things now days, from lay back dinner style, to heavier styles. but my inner passion is blues (It just lets you feel) although the songs I now play may not reflect this, you will hear it within.I also lay back and Mix others in the studio, I tend to put my own view of sound in the mix within reason and give the bands the best I can and make them sound as good as they can. this goes true for all the up and coming artists I help along the way. The new artists I help with a demo, to get there name out there. this slightly alters the front of house mix as the final CD must sound good on any CD player, and not just a 5 - 30Kw system. I help people in need, like nursing homes, Blue Day, Charity Nights, and disabled.
