DADDYBLACK

MBANYAM "DADDY BLACK" TAH was born in Edea,Cameroon,1985.His family moved to Mbengwi,Northwest Cameroon.Growing up, he developped a strong passion for music & this quest for rhythms saw him through youth choral societies & traditional dance groups. He started writing & performing his own songs at 14 but it was not until september 2002,trade fair,Bamenda that DADDY BLACK caught the interest of many who saw him perform.This worked for him a deal with a club;Las vegas in Bamenda. He later on moved to the Capital city;Yaounde where he attended a music academy followed by a part job with a club(Fabrick la cam). Meanwhile he was on several occasions invited to popular TV & radio shows which did him justice by broadening his fan base. DADDY BLACK was termed Da Afro Show man by his fans who liked not just his vocal texture & rhythm but also his performances. Some say they await his blend of folklore,highlife,soul/reggae,R&B,hiphop to completely take over the music scene. He's working on his debut album,ANOTHER LEVEL where he says "this album is another level of inspiration,another level of devotion,another level of unification,another level of revolution,another level of determination , another level of satisfaction & another level of hiphop music"
