Experiencing Life As It Should Be

About Me

How can I truly describe the me that I am in just a few paragraphs? I am a brother, a son, an actor a teacher, a lover, a friend, a blessing, a businessman, a politician, a TV and Radio Personality, and I could go on and on. At the end of the day, I am all of these things collectively yet none of these things individually.

Currently, I work as a Marketing and Promotions professional and I moonlight as an actor. I enjoy participating in poetry slams, writing, reading and definitely hitting the gym on a regular basis. I live my life by the Universal Laws of Attraction and I know that I attract only goodness and success because I believe that is what I deserve! I hope to use this page to keep in contact with friends, relatives and admirers. Reach out to me! I look forward to hearing from you.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people that are first and most importantly -- REAL. People who are about something and trying to make a difference in the world. Then again, the question is WHO WOULD LIKE TO MEET ME!

Music:

Common, Talib Kweli, ERYKAH BADU, Goapele, Jill Scott, Amel Larrieux, Lucy Pearl, Lil Wayne, Baby, Xibit, L.L. Cool J., Mike Jones, Miles Davis, Lucy Horn, John Coletrane (If he's played it I own it), Kirk Franklin, Byron Cage, Kanye West, Anthony Hamilton, John Legend, Bilal, Alanis Morriset -- I'm just a musical kinda guy and my IPod gets more on a daily

Movies:

love jones (one of the best movies of all time), Breakfast at Tiffany's, Boomerang (man I wanted to be Marrrrcus for a while) and right now I am diggin The DaVinci Code.

Television:

I am usually not a cartoon guy -- but Stewy from the Family Guy is my man! I also like Law and Order and great independent films. I am an actor what do you expect.

Books:

Beasts of No Nation - Uzidemwa Iwela and I Say A Little Prayer by E. Lynn Harris - both interesting reads. Always looking for other recommendations. Hit me up to talk about these.

Heroes:

Let's see who are some of the people that are my heroes. I am sure that many of the them would be unconventional people.First, Nina Simone - because she broke down barriers and was not constrained by the bounds of conventional beauty; Fredrick Douglass - becuase it goes with out saying that he advanced the cause of the African-American plight and journalism without compromising his principles and finally Paul Robeson - becuase he did it ALL!
