Elder Jimmy T. Battles received salvation at the tender age of 13 he subsequently accepted at the call of God in 1988. He is continually making his calling and election sure. He is furthering his education at the Truth Bible College of Jacksonville, Florida. Upon moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1992 he joined the Citadel of Hope Evangelistic Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Pastor Nathan L. Simmons. There he served as an integral part of both the Praise and Worship Ministry and the Ministerial Staff until 2001. Since that time Elder Battles has served at the City of Refuge Family Life Center as the Coordinator of the Ministerial Alliance under the leadership of Pastor Timothy A.C. Cox.
Charged with a mandate and called as an Evangelist, Elder Battles has traveled extensively spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Propelled by and evangelistic thrust this ministry actively seeks to heal the broken-hearted and to set at liberty captive souls held in the bondage of sin. Elder Battles is convinced, “If I can reach them…the gospel can win them!†Humble in character and positioned prophetically, he has been used to declare the set time in the lives of God’s people. This multi-faceted ministry has been the pivotal point of change in the lives of many through street witnessing, revivals, and conferences.
A man of passionate prayer, uniquely anointed and radical in his stance, Elder Jimmy T. Battles is sent as one of the end-time harvesters.
