Hosted at Forever Green Restaurant, Ransom Wood Business Park, Mansfield, Notts.(see www.ransomwood.co.uk) The Art Café is already generating a great deal of interest from artists and audience with a passion to support and establish a regular event of this kind in this area.
The Art Café, as you will see from the slideshow, is nestled into an attractive woodland setting However, despite the secluded wooded environment, the location is extremely well connected to transport links and offers ample free parking next to the venue. The M1/A1 and A38 are nearby and the train system is just 3 miles away, plus with a reliable and regular bus route serving local towns, villages and cities, there's no excuse for not turning out for an excellent evening of cross art forms.
Forever Green's huge glass windows give enjoyment of the park's natural beauty from indoors also and in warmer weather there is patio seating just outside. The idea for The Art Cafe is to incorporate music, spoken word and art exhibits into one energised and diverse event giving artists and audience the opportunity to relax as well as participate. With an excellent menu that takes on a different theme at each event,artists and audience alike can enjoy quality, well priced, locally sourced food in addition to relaxing in the locally labelled 'Creative hub of Mansfield'.
Doors open at 7.00pm with the first performance at 8pm. Addmission is only £3.50 and there is plenty of 'free' parking outside. With a half hour break in the middle, the last performance ends at approx 10.30pm giving people the chance to network/socialise afterwards too.
