About Me

To fully understand the Frogs, you must know the 1985 sci-fi adventure Explorers . Go out and buy the widescreen edition DVD if you are unfamiliar with this Joe Dante classic. Frogs is made out of equal parts of the three main characters:
^The nerd, loves science/computers.
^The cool kid, listens to the rock music.
^The dreamer...
Just your average Frogs tryin' to make his way in the world. I am a musician in Los Angeles (one of many!) and I have performed in/with many bands/artists:
-Oh Crap! Ninjas
-Marc Cogman/Welcome To The Danger Show
-Jami Ross
-Jaremiah James
-David Hasselhoff (seriously... The Hoff)
-Lucy Lawless
-The Neon Calm (R.I.P.)
Also if you get real bored listen to these I made:
Captain Dude!
An Afternoon With Grammy
Safe Halloween USA
A Brief History Of Frogs:
Early 1980 - Chuck & Alice decide to bring offspring no. 2 into this crazy world.
May '80 to Feb '81 - In Eutero. Highlights include: being warm all the time and not having any chores to do. Cons: no TV/atari/personal space.
February 9, 1981 - Born on a Monday... figures.
The early years - Pretty uneventful. Too young to really appreciate the 80's. I did fall off a building and onto my head when I was 3. That was fun. I had a tyranical older sister and a whiney younger brother (they both turned out fine).
September 1986 - School. Hated it. I did get my first taste of the bass guitar that year though.
1990 - I started listening to WAAF Boston after getting a small radio for my room. The first albums I owned (on cassette of course) were Faith No More's Angel Dust and Pantera's Vulgar Display Of Power. I was suprised my parents didn't notice that both had those annoying "Parental Advisory" stickers on them.
1991 - In 5th grade I started playing the tenor saxaphone. I made it rock as best I could
September 1993 - Got my first guitar, a black Peavey Predator. Started a band with Marcus and Max called The Raging Idiots. The name fit.
High School Bands:
Gasket (formerly Average Joe)
Reveille
The Uncalled Four (featuring Chuck )
Freeride
September 1999 - Began classes at The Berklee College Of Music . Cofounded Chimpira with Marc and J , later adding Rizzy .
August 2001 - The death of Chimpira also marked the birth of The Neon Calm. Adding Arms completed the lineup and marked a change in direction of the music.
May 2003 - Graduated Berklee with a bachelors degree in Music Sythesis.
June 2004 - The Neon Calm relocate to Los Angeles. That pretty much bring you all up to speed.

My Interests

Music, music and music. Play bass in The Neon Calm , do a little voice acting here and there.

I'd like to meet:

Shakira... j/k, she sucks now...

Movies:

In the continuing spirit of such recent documentaries as Murderball, Grizzly Man and Supersize Me, culturaly relevant ones such as Farenhiet/911, and classics like This is Spinal Tap... I implore all of you to watch Brentumentary about the life of geek impresario Brent Simon:

Heroes:

^Don't hassel The Hoff Band.

^Yes, this is me on stage with KITT.

^It's like when like minds think alike.

^Got Frogs?

^Ian doesn't get drunk, he gets British. Rami, how could you be so scared of these two?

^This is Kuro. She likes to play with/destroy her mouse toy.

^She also guards my sleep.

^Uncle Frogs!! This is my neice Erika. She is 4. She likes pink.

^R.I.P. CBGB (October 2006). This is Rizzy, Me and Marc onstage at CB's in 2000. BEST - CLUB - EVER

^Could this possibly be the elusive Frog-face?

^Why did I leave Boston for LA again...?

Knock knock - Whos there? - The deuce - The deuce who? - The deuce am I talking about?

I have never been gifted with words. "Language Arts" was often accompanied by the third and fourth letters and never by the previous two. But one thing that has always been true is that I talk. At imm...
