Agnieszka Iwanska

Agnieszka is a vocalist.As you've already noticed or heard. She's a graduate of the only in Poland Jazz Faculty at Music University in Katowice. While living in Poland the received a few remarkable prizes on the jazz festivals held in her native country. She also had the opportunity and honor to collaborate with great Polish musicians. Agnieszka moved to Chicago some time ago and formed her band. They play specially arranged jazzy and souly songs. She keeps getting more and more appreciation in Chicagoland's jazz community.Here is what Brad Walseth of jazzchicago.net wrote about Agnieszka"s performance with Joel Moore Quartet at Andy's Jazz Club: " Like Basia, Iwanska is a Polish singer who has taken on the Brazilian sound pioneered by Astrud Gilberto.
