- "SUN EATS HOURS" IS NOT A USUAL NAME
This typical Venetian saying means “don’t waste the time you haveâ€' . The band truly puts this exortation into practice carrying out a continuous and intense activity from 1997 until today, achieving relevant notoriety both at home and outside Italy, becoming one of the best known Italian rock bands in the world
The band's story starts from a little town in the Vicenza province, in 1997. While playing hundreds of concerts and being present at the main national alternative festivals, the band publishes three albums, one split-cover album and one collection album.
The album "The Last Ones" third of the series, has been released in September 2005 in Europe, Japan, South Africa and Brazil .
With the outstanding release of the “Metal Addiction†metal cover' split album, together with the world famous Japanese band Nicotine, the Sun Eats Hours’ consolidated their Japanese fan base and prepared it to a new Japanese release to celebrate the ten years’ band’s history. The new exclusive collection album “Ten Years†hit the Japanese stores later in 2007 .
- SUN EATS HOURS IS A LIVE BAND WITH MORE THAN 300 SHOWS PERFORMED
They've been part of great festival such the Independent days festival, the Deconstruction, the Anti tour, the Eastpak festival. The "The Last Ones" tour consisted on 102 shows in ten different countries from Europe to Japan.
