About Me
Hey Myspace and welcome to my page! Getting to this point has been a long road! I’m sure all musicians out there can vouch for that! Having the confidence to sing AND to put your material out is an achievement in itself! Thanks to my heavenly Father and the support of family and friends I’ve been able to finally do that. I write all my songs and work closely with the producers who are wonderful enough to make beats for me (I appreciate you guys)! I would personally say that all my music has come through life experiences, tough times, good times, awkward times, funny times, mistakes . . . . the whole sha-bang! Everyone who knows me would say my big imagination and my ability to talk for England also helps! Lol, and they certainly are not far from the truth.
Most artists always say there love for singing began at an early age, and I’m no different as soon as I started school, I started talent shows, plays and musicals. I knew that singing was something I could not live without doing. Along the way I’ve met beautiful and inspirational people who have helped me become who I am today, you know who you are and I’ll forever love you!
My biggest music influences are (no particular order) Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Shie Atkins, Beyonce Knowles, Monica, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Aaliyah (R.I.P), Alicia Keys, Brandy, Lil’ MO, Jojo, Kelly Rowland, Lemar, Craig David, Leona Lewis, Amy Winehouse, Fantasia Barino, Kim Barrell, Cece Winans and many more.
Alongside singing I LOVE to entertain people, if I can put a smile on someone else’s face then I’m happy!
At the moment I’m a second year university student, I’m studying creative and media writing, I love being creative and writing (lol obviously!) APART from singing, I would also ABSERLUTLY LOVE to be a children’s television presenter/magazine editor and even an author of children’s books.
I think its fare to say I’m a very ambitious person, but I believe there’s no other way to be! Everything starts in the mind if you can perceive it then you can achieve it! All things are possible through Christ Jesus who strengthens me (and you?)!
