Welcome to myspace everybody! Feels good to finaly get one, everyone's been telling me to make one for a long time now! but here i finally am! Most of my friends and family know me as Linda, but as an artist i wanted to seperate that and become Meesh L! As Linda there are things I am afraid to say, and things i wont dare to say, but as meesha l, i can say all these things and not be judged as a person but as a free spirited musician.
I have sung all my life and i will be singing till my last breath! i see my gift a blessing from God, and one that i would love to share with all of you. Most artists always say there love for singing began at an early age, and I’m no different as soon as I started school, I started talent shows, plays and musicals. I knew that singing was something I could not live without doing. Along the way I’ve met beautiful and inspirational people who have helped me become who I am today, you know who you are and I’ll forever love you! My biggest music influences are (no particular order) Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Shie Atkins, Beyonce Knowles, Monica, Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Aaliyah (R.I.P), Alicia Keys, Brandy, Lil' MO, Jojo, Kelly Rowland, Lemar, Craig David, Leona Lewis, Amy Winehouse, Fantasia Barino, Kim Barrell, Cece Winans and many more. Alongside singing I LOVE to entertain people, thats just me doing me, if I can put a smile on someone else’s face then I’m happy!
Like most people i have been through tests and trials and i just want to tell somebody if i can get through it you can to.
At the moment i dont have any tracks, im a fresh artist looking for producers so that i can get started and test my wings.
It is scary but i feel i am finally ready to start a journey i was destined to start; i'm ready to fullfill my dream; i'm ready to sing.
I have gained my confidence through singing in the church choir, as you can tell i love my gospel!
I have sung with my girlfriends ever since we all discoverd we love singing (practically forever Lill Kay you know what i'm saying!)
From all this i hope i finally achieve my goal; i hope that i touch somebody with the music that i will make. . . . .
