I'm a 19 year old, unsigned singer, songwriter, published poet and student in North London. I am currently studying for a BA Degree at Middlesex University in Creative Media Writing.
I have had the passion for singing since I was a very young; however I had started taking it more seriously as I grew into a young woman. One of my biggest encouragements for songwriting came from my love of poetry. I began writing songs and poems at 10 years old. A year later I had my first poem published which was followed by another poem which was published at 14. I also enjoy writing as a journalist and editor and have written published reviews and press releases on behalf of companies such as Promotion City, D101 and Sony BMG.
I’m currently experimenting with my recording, trying to produce a good sound. I still have a long way to go but I’m enjoying the journey. I love working with other artists as well as on my own. I am keen on working with a young male vocalist, because I haven’t yet done this kind of duet. I was brought up amongst all kinds of musical genres as my dad was a DJ and the owner of a radio station, it left me with a wide range of musical favourites such as; Soul Classics, Motown, Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Ska, Revival, Reggae, Rock n Roll,Gospel, Country and Western, the list goes on. At the moment, I’d have to say it’s all about R&B, Funky House, Hip Hop, Baseline, Tropical and some Grime.
Musically I have to say I’m inspired by many great artists (in no particular order) such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Luther V, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Patsy Cline, Sanchez, Dennis.E Brown, Bob Marley, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lemar, Lily Allen, James Morrison, Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse, Monica, Destiny's Child, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Rhinana and The Wonderful Miss Alicia Keys!!!!! I also have the much love for the women who are representing the media in so many of its forms, such as Tyra Banks and Opera.
God is top man on road…lol. His guidance is number one inspiration in my life. His love and dedication in standing by me has given me my inner strength to keep on striving. My family is the backbone in my life, during my every struggle. No matter how minor or major the struggle, they are there loving me unconditionally. My closest friends are my extended family, don’t get it twisted…lol. They keep me grounded and focused; I love them all!!!

Established in 1999 by directors and managers Neil-One and Shaun-City, Promotion City continues to provide its members with a reliable source of information to clubbers and nightlife socialists who regularly go 'clubbing'.
As the Student Orgainiser within the company, I will be in your Universities bringing Promotion City to you!!!! I assist in dealing with the company’s database as I’m generally based behind the scenes, however from time to time you can find me in the clubs representing Promotion City writing reviews on events and giving the lowdown on our movements.
