Add to My Profile | More VideosHi, I'm James, AKA JMD. I started making beats in FL Studios, in 2004. It all goes back to my last couple years in High School. My English Teacher, Chris Cauley, near the end of the year, he always jams out some tunes in class. Chris plays a lot of acoustic rock, and inspired me to get into pruducing my own unique style of music. Another great influence is my sister and my bro in law, always listening to big bass, club stuff, and got my hooked on NYC Underground and Exit to NY, Sound Factory etc... I'm not known to anyone accept for my fan bass and a few other people. I produce everything from my laptop. it's funny, some comments I get, a few people ask me, "where do you play?" And I feel really inspired to continue making music. I'm going to school for Audio Production in Sept. Lets see what happens. So if you're wondering, do I do shows? no, maybe in the future. I do my tunes at home. I know that dont sound like much, but I must be doing somthing good because I'm doing a project with my bro in law for the first time. Our collaberation is unstoppable, and my sound has changed drastically. I went from hippy techno/rock to a more hard trance type thanks to my partner, RUDY B! Solely, I made 4 albums in FL Studios, including my most recent, "Slow Motion." Also, I will be posting a Greatest Hits CD available via Bittorent Download after our album, JMD Vs. RUDY B is completed! We usually upload a new track on Friday's around midnight. So make sure you tune in because each week the track will be replaced! My favorite artists are: IIO, Lasco, 4 Strings, Ian Van Dahl, ATB, Angel City, Alice Deejay, Dance Nation, Kreo, Louie DeVito, Late, Night Alumni etc... and for thoughs in NY, PARTY 105.3!
