Music (I sing, play keys and other various percussion instruments), lead singer of Roster McCabe, have been into reading a lot lately, staying relatively healthy, 'bussin a cap in whitey', having conversations with people about anything, I really like tea :), listening to people talk, going to live concerts/open mic nights, snowboarding when I get the chance, oh yeah! girls just never cease to fascinate and astound me... HA!
Anyone who thinks they'd like to meet me. People are what makes the world go round to me :) Especially chill people... cuz I am just that. I always say you can never have enough friends. More people to pick you up when your down (a.k.a. more chances that onna them will become rich and remember how nice of a friend I was when I'm stuck in my studio apartment writing lyrics for my new set that I'm playing at the local dive bar on open mic night... ha.) I'm always down for new faces and new places so hit me up. WE CAN BE FRIENDS! Unless you are onna those high maintainance high drama people... too busy for that, so umm yeah... I'm just way too Jamaican to deal with drama... ya mon ery'ting irie... wha-ya don kno bou dat... oh yeah and real Jamaicans dont really say booya kashaow... just fyi... (thanks Ali G)
pretty into Ben Harper right now, James Brown, Michael Jackson (pre-butterfly), get that county outta my face, everything from Panic at the Disco, Alkaline Trio, Fallout Boy, to Matisyahu the Jewish Reggae artist, to Boys 2 Men, Stevie Wonder, to Heiroglyphics, Dead Prez, POS n Rhymesayers, main stream rap sucks... thats not real music. If you wanna dance to it fine, but I'm talkin real underground hip hop artist, poets... Deltron, Jean Gray, Mos Def, Little Brother. Gotta give it up to Bob Marley and the Wailers, originators. My chill music is that old school jazz... Coltrane, gimme some Satchmo, some Billie Holiday and some Ella...
Current Favs: A beautiful Mind, Congo don't ask why those monkeys are bad ass..., Waiting, Old School, Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (Tim Burton is great), Nightmare Before Christmas, I'm a geek deal with it, but Lord of the Rings, and the umm, I dunno would you say Matricies?? I guess you would... heh, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Labyrinth, The Neverending Story (The first one.), pretty much any movie with Gonzo and Rizzo the Rat (muppets), Crash, Pulp Fiction, did no one think The Life Aquatic was funny? cuz I did, Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy....
Not a Big TV watcher, its usually The Food Network, some disvcovery channel, or Cartoons, they're the only things that don't really make me upset with popular culture. MTV=(Lame+No Music ever)²... what's the deal with that?
