HISTORY
When Bigswede and Freddys old rock/pop band ”Madigan” was put on ice they decided to do something completely different and fun. And without hesitation they started a powermetalproject and Bigswede realized a secret dream by starting singing lead vocals in the new band.These ideas laid the foundation to the builing of the new Power/Heavymetalband "Cryonic". In upSwedens studio the guys recorded their first songs, and in the studio they also met another musician and bassplayer Sico that joined the band. With Bigswede as a songwriter and a lot of ideas from the others a lot were recorded with programmed drums the first year. These Mididrums were soon to be replaced with real stuff played by André that joined the band. Now the band were able to rehears their songs for real in May -04.After some time Cryonic met and interesting musician in upSweden Music Community. Digger worked as a musicproducer and soundengineer in the studio were Cryonic used to hang out, and one day Digger recorded some synths and stuff for Cryonic and soon he was persuaded into joining the band.So far Bigswede had been playing rythmguitar and singing but he felt in was time to drop the axe and focus on the vocals and feel free to move around like crazy on the stage. This created the need for a new guitarist...Pretty soon Freddy met a dude at a party that played some heavy guitar. His name was Henke. Henke did one audition and it felt really awesome, so he was hired. Now the bandsetup was complete.The time between May 2004 and May 2006 a couple of drummers left the band due to some problems. these drummers were André, Tomas and Dennis. In spring 2006 the band hooked up with one of Bigswedes old gunmen Mike, that proved to be a king behind the drums and just what the band needed to conquer the world.Thanks to Bigswedes hard work building contacts for Cryonic the band struck a bullseye with the recordcompany Swedmetal that signed the band to a record deal instantly. In February 2007 the debut album "Evil mind" hit the stores in Sweden and about half of Europe.Cryonic is now working with their might and magic to conquer the world with their music, so keep your eyes open!
