I have been singing for 40 years years I am 50 and proud to still kick arse actually the last band I was in was with guys that were in their early 20s, and let me tell you I dont feel a day over 27 and I like to think that I still look good for my age and no! theres not one wrinkle on this woman .I was born in Rome but I have been living in Australia most of my life although I did go back to Rome to study singing and won the Italian song contest when I was only 16.I arrived in Sydney from the south coast in the 70s wanting to work my way through the music industry which was a hard road so I worked the worst jobs imaginable just to survive!while at the same time singing with my band back then called *Snatch*playing Sydney pups and large rock venues of the time trying to make a name for myself.Eventually joined a band called World Tour and Word Of Mouth. At the same time I was doing session work at Atlantic Recording Studios where I lived.The Studio was owned by Peter Hood from the Atlantics.Doug Ford from the Masters Apprentices,ex Missing Links,Running Jumping Standing Still, and Roger Faynes who was playing bass with the Masters at the time came to see me perform with Word Of Mouth and asked me to join them in a band they formed out of the Masters called "Motherload"and then I was away touring and recording with that band.In 1989 I met my husband John Strangio bass player.ex Dingoes,BlackFeather ,Chariot,Jeff St John,Swanee.In the late 1990s I started to teach choirs finally becoming a conducter for the sing 2001 mass choirs formed in 1999 as choir for the 2000 Sydney Olympics which was an experience as I also conducted that choir for the Paralympics,South Pacific School Games.As far as my own singing is concerned I have sung many styles of music in my life some of which I didnt enjoy at all. My passion has always been good LOUD METAL and these days I REFUSE to sing anything else! I am getting too old for crap I dont enjoy!I guess I am really set in my ways now and if I have to sing anything but Metal I would rather not sing at all! I am into imaculate stage image and presentation stage show . I am currently teaching singing. My hero bass players are John Strangio who is my husband..Sebastian Strangio my son who totally kicks serious bass playing arse! and of course the great Bob Daisley who is a legend!*SISTERS AND BROTHERS OF METAL UNITE* *LETS KEEP THE METAL ALIVE*
