Tricia is a multifaceted woman of passionate faith and contagious enthusiasm for both the Lord and life. As a student of God’s Word, Tricia depends on the Bible as a necessity for living. As a wife to Brian, and a mother of three children, she daily strives to weave scripture-based truths and principles into the fabric of her home. As a worship leader, Tricia expresses a passionate and energetic style of worship. Her delivery is honest and real, bridging the gap of generations of worshipers. As a songwriter, Tricia creatively exposes the goodness of Jesus Christ through her lyrics and honors Him with timeless truths. Her music delivers topics illustrating obedience to His call and a hunger to share the Good News with those who seek Him.
Of her writing process, Tricia says: “When I began writing, I felt so exposed to the world because some of the songs were birthed out of pain and sorrow, sin and repentance, and the anguish of the soul. But I soon came to realize that even if people had different life experiences and circumstances than I have had, everyone has had to deal with the gamut of emotions that life has thrown at them. The Lord showed me that this is why writing these songs for others to hear is important – it is an avenue of identification, expression, as well as healing. Many of the songs on my first album are songs of praise – a direct result of what God can do when we run to Him, even in the hard times! You may recognize the voice of the Psalmist, David, in some of them. That’s because I can so identify with the man who loved God with all his heart, yet doubted himself and his faith from time to time. In the end, David places himself in the hands of the only One who could save and heal him – Father God. Personally, I have experienced the unconditional grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have seen the work of His hands in the midst of unbearable circumstances. I am undone by His amazing, abundant love. It is my privilege to be a vessel in which to impart the Good News: that God sent His Son, Jesus, to free us from sin, to make us worthy before God, to live eternally with Him, and to live an abundant life in the midst of a fallen world. He stands ready with arms outstretched for all that would fall at His feet. This is the passion of my heart.
Tricia has just released her first, and long awaited, self-titled album. All original songs, this album is an eclectic mix that reflects Tricia’s love for many genres of music. In it you will find the catchy worship tune "You Are”, which was selected by Worshiper Magazine for the second Volume of ACCESS, which is a music sample compilation CD bound into The Worshiper magazine. Tricia’s love for gospel music is also represented on her new album with “Coming Closer” and “Lift Him Up”. In the touching song “Fly”, she expresses her heart for her daughter, and other young women, to find freedom in knowing who she is in Christ. Several worship songs well-up deep emotion and desire for God.
