THE RESISTANTS

After years and years of playing with bands, being disgusted by top 40, and being restricted by the creative confines of music partnerships; Jonny decided that the only way to realize his dream and follow his love for music was to remove himself of the constraints of "A BAND" and start a musical movement. Not necessarily try to change the world (even though it needs a lot of change)...but to create a forum and a respect for the alternative lifestyle of a creative person.Jonny started THE RESISTANTS as a dedication to the musician lifestyle. The concept is to work with many different musicians, explore many different styles, and allow these musicians to pursue there own personal dreams and careers without spending all there time on his/others dreams. This allowed both Jonny and his Musician friends to float around freely...while all being part of THE RESISTANTS.The concept was to include theatre, marketing, and creativity: to set a new standard for the public. Not to tell people what to like, but to "give the people what they want!"(The Kinks..first coined that phrase).THE RESISTANTS is NOT a new project, it has been around since some time around the year 2000...so far Jonny has collaborated with 11 other artists recording, writing, and performing. Musicians from unknowns to very well recognized artists....no name dropping here. They are booked through August in some of NYC's top venues and nightclubs.
