My Interests

reading, writing, genealogy, local history, family history, baseball, soccer, travel, wandering around Montana, Cornwall, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and other places dear to my heart.

I'd like to meet:

readers and writers of romance/women's fiction, chick lit, hen lit, and children's and young adult lit, etc. Also genealogists, family historians, local historians.

Music:

Ian Tyson, Jimmy Buffett, Haydn, some Bach, some Brahms, some Mozart, pretty much anything on a cello. Bud and Travis. Ramsey Lewis. Beatles.

Movies:

Paperback Hero, Empire of the Sun, LA Confidential, Teahouse of the August Moon, Father Goose, Persuasion, Much Ado About Nothing (recent BBC version), Shane, Working Girl, To Catch a Thief, Charade, How To Steal A Million...off the top of my head.

Television:

don't watch much. As a kid, Laramie. Most recently, Alias, but then they screwed it up and I didn't watch it anymore.

Books:

How about authors rather than books. . . Jane Austen, Tony Hillerman, Elmer Kelton, Anne Gracie, Loretta Chase, Sophie Weston, Janet Evanovich, KM Peyton, Barbara Metzger, Liz Fielding, Hester Browne, Jill Mansell, Lynne Barrett-Lee, Tami Hoag, Theresa Weir, Kate Walker, Corey Ford, E.B. White, Jean Kerr.
