The Stillhouse Orchestra

Bluegrass and Country Swing

About Me

The Stillhouse Orchestra are the creation of Miss Tia Maria and Rib Eye Jake. The music is a fairly obscure mix of bluegrass and country through to mellow swing and blues thanks to the varied musical tastes of Maria and Jake. The band have been playing live for around a year in venues ranging from cabaret clubs and acoustic bars to the Regents Park Bandstand and retro and swing dance nights.

The set can vary from a laid back mix of classic swing and blues covers and original songs to a foot stomping raucous hoedown or, as most gigs are, a happy blend of the two.

Although based around these 2 musicians the band is often expanded with the addition of Nathan Gallagher on piano or hammond and other friends who come and play with us

The Stillhouse Orchestra would love to hear from anyone organising events who may be interested in the band playing, from public cabaret, music and club nights and summer festivals to private parties and events.
