Am a poor student yet again!! My artistic journey began in Hong Kong in 1995 when I bought my first camera and started hanging out with the older kids in the darkrooms. I later took up the short course with them before moving to Melbourne to study photography formally at uni. Somewhere in 1999 my brother bought decks and another hobby was born. Records were bought and played, and parties were frequented. 4 years, two uni's, and many dead brain cells later I graduated with every last creative drop sucked from my core. In 2003 i packed my bags and went travelling. Yep, with girlfriend, backpack, camera bag, and record box (yes i did fit on the plane)i was gone. 2 years later i returned. I now had 2 record boxes, 20 rolls of undeveloped films, and massive credit card debts, but had also returned with a new creative outlook. I worked for a year and enrolled in a multimedia course the following year, which is where i still find myself to this day.........
p.s. records are still being bought and played, and parties are still being gone to.
