The Chuck Land Band

About Me

Chuck Land Jr. has always been a music freak ever since he started playing the drums at the age of 5. Being the son of a Preacher, he was raised in a Pentecostal Church, where he played spiritual filled music until the age of 16. At the age of 12, he began to play piano and guitar. After playing drums and keyboards for a number of bands, Chuck finally started his own project just two years ago. The Chuck Land Band is influenced by many genres, but mostly Classic Funk, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, and Psychedelic Rock and many other styles. He can also be seen playing with a high energy jam band called Headband and also Working Class Villain . On a National Level, Chuck has often been a freelance musician, playing concerts with Shirley King (one of B.B's many daughters)and Chris Beard which is nicknamed "The Prince of the Blues" and a few others. After living in Cincinnati for 25 years, Chuck relocated to Lexington, KY where he played and recorded with many Blues/Classic Rock Bands such as G-Busy & the Blues Revue , The Stella Vees, The Jive Turkeys, Patty Butcher and many more. When he moved back to Cincinnati in 2004, he formed a Production Company Landman Productons , Chuck began doing studio work and producing Music Documentaries. He recently finished producing/directing a local non-profit music documentary titled "My Passion Project, A Music Lover's Film" The film features Chuck playing keyboards with about 10 bands out of the 29 shown on the film and can be purchased by credit card by visiting the My Passion Project link. Check out other videos Chuck has produced by visiting his You Tube ChannelHolding down the Bass/Electric Guitar duties is Nick Giese. Nick is an amzing 22 year old musician that is currently getting is Jazz Degree at Central State University. He plays like a seasoned veteran with so much soul and energy. He also plays Guitar with a kick butt Bluegrass band Sammy Smith & the Tadcasters When Nick isn't in school or playing music, he stays busy teaching guitar lessons to about 30 students.Josh Natterman, aka Dr. Time, does a great job holding down the beat being the guy that hangs out with musicians, the Drummer! Ha! Josh is a really cool guy that grew up playing mostly Spirit Filled Music in the Church Setting. Two of the newest members are Santtu Potticary and Jamie Ritchie from the band GrandOversoul . Santtu is a very talented saxophonist, and Jamie also a member of The Vernon Manor Project , adds a lot of colors with his combination of percussion instruments. It is a pleasure to have both of them in the band. The band likes to keep themselves, and the audience on their toes by having very talented special guests perform with them all the time. Part time musicians consist of John Redell view John's Promo Video that I produced. Other part time members include the former guitarist from Them Bones Band, Lightning Tim Jacoby. If you want to see a band that gives you all their heart and soul, then come out the Chuck Land Band or any of the bands mentioned above!Peace!
