Influences:
The one musical group that impacted my life more than any other has to be The Beatles. But I have been influenced by so many other musical artists from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. (continued below picture)

Dan was truly one of our greatest singer/ songwriters.
We have all suffered a great loss in the world of music.
I will miss you my brother in musical spirit.

In February of 2005, Dan went to Colorado for a few weeks to supervise some ranch business and to do some work in the studio. His wife stayed in Maine to oversee the final construction phase of their Maine house. It was hard for them to be so far apart for so long, especially since they would miss Valentine's Day together. On the afternoon of the 14th, the florist brought Jean a dozen long-stemmed red roses; FedEx brought a CD with a song Dan had written for her just for Valentine's Day. The song is called "Sometimes A Song", and is available for digital download at iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and WalMart.com. Jean Fogelberg has arranged for 100% of her proceeds from all digital sales of "Sometimes A Song" to be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
