About Me

John-F. Klaver (20-9-1977) is a guitarist from The Netherlands. He studied at the conservatory of Amsterdam from which he graduated in 2003. Among his teachers were Dutch greats as: Jesse van Ruller, Martijn van Iterson and Eef Albers. He also attended masterclasses from Mike Stern, Pat Martino and Tuck Andress. Due to this intense study of the instrument and music he feels at home at almost any style of music. Nowadays John is concentrating mostly on populair- and bluesmusic. Also, aside from playing guitar, John is studying the art of singing. His singinginfluences are: John Mayer, Zakk Wylde (P&G era), Amos Lee, Brad Paisley and Waren Haynes. His goal is to make music that hits people in the heart and not the head. People, who don’t even know how many strings are on a guitar, want to listen.Live@Artquake 1-2-2008
