Milan Stanisavljevic was born in Kragujevac, Serbia. He started to play piano at the age of 9. He finished primary and high school for music / classic piano department. His very first jazz steps was made together with famous Belgrade jazz pianist Milos Krstic. At the age of 18 he studied FMU Beograd (Faculty of Music Arts Belgrade), and graduated in Harmony with Harmonic Analyse in the class of prof. Rastislav Kambaskovic. After Belgrade, he went to one of the oldest european jazz school, Universitat fur Musik und Darstelende Kunst Graz - Austria. He studied jazz piano in the classes of Dr.Harald Neuwitrh and prof. Claus Raible and aslo have a chance to learn from great pianists such as Renato Chico, Fritz Pauer, drummer Howard Curtis and others. He made his Bakkalaureat diplom in january 2008 and straight after he continue a master studies. On many workshops at the school he met Billy Hart, Ron McLure, Jerry Bergonzi, Dave Santoro, John Holenback, Geofrey Keezer, Peter Helbotzheimer, etc.
He is playing now with his Invidia Quartet together with Ivan Ivanov (tenor sax), Steve Wood (bass), Alexandar Cvetkovic (drums).This band plays their original compositions and also their arrangements of jazz originals and standards. Among them he played with Stjepko Gut, Mimo Mitrovic, Christopf "Pepe" Auer, Valentin Czihak, Andjelko Stupar, Jure Pukl, Igor Matkovic, Cene Resnik, Gaspar Persl, Robert Jukic, Matej Hotko, Marko Djordjevic, Vladimir Kostadinovic, Edi Louis, Bojan Vukelic, Dusan Simovic, Branko Sterpin...
He plays a lot together with singer Jadranka Juras in duo or in her J.J.J.Q. ( Jadranka Juras Jazz Quartet ).
