Against Abortion

I am a mother of one beautiful 5 year old little girl. I know what I believe in and I want to take a stand for what is right. I want to be know as the woman that stood up for my beliefs and tried to make the world a better place to be. I am not trying to push my beliefs on anyone. I am just trying to make them be heard.
Obviously I am strongly against abortion so I thought that would be a good place for me to start. I do not understand where anyone thinks that it is ok to take the life of an unborn child. You get into the whole debate of people saying "the child isn't alive" or "it is unborn so it is ok." No, it is not ok. At just 21 days that child has a heartbeat. What part of unalive is that, could someone please tell me?
What is the difference in a mother giving birth and leaving that baby in a dumpster to die and in doctors killing your baby before it can be born? The only difference there is that born baby almost had a chance. It at least got the oppurtunity to be born. Murder is murder. There is no difference. We do not have a choice. Your choice is to wear protection.
What are we teaching our kids? Are we telling them that it is ok to give up and run away from their mistakes? Saying that it was a mistake that they got pregnant and that they aren't "ready" to have babies so it is ok to have an abortion? No... if you can not be responsable enough to have a baby then you do not need to be having sex. Why is it ok to just kill that unborn child because you didn't have enough time for protection?
There are other ways around it too. There are adoption clinics. Is there just not enough information out there about adoption? I know that in the U.S. there is actually a waiting list to adopt a new born baby. There are so many families out there that are not lucky enough to be able to concieve on their own that they have to turn to adoption. Thank God that there are people with enough compassion and courage that they can not just kill their children. At least they give these other families hope.
So, as you can see... this is something that I strongly beieve in and I want to take a stand for. If you have any ideas on how people can help out please feel free to post them. I know as a single individual it seems as if there is nothing that we can do. But if we bond together there is so much that can be done. Thank you for taking the time to read what I have to say.
