Because
"Pro-Life"
means more than
"Anti-Abortion"
Originally created on January 25th, 2006 - right_to_life, now known as MySpace Right To Life, has grown from a simple page made with one message, to a page full of information. The goal, beyond doubt, is to bring knowledge to all individuals that human life is precious, despite the stage of which that life is in. From the moment of conception to the moment of natural death, life is not to be abused by man. This community is not founded on the basis of religion, but rather on the basis of genuine compassion and respect for human life. "Pro-Life" is more than just "Anti-Abortion" because the Pro-Life movement involves several topics. Abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, cloning, unethical means of stem cell research, and so fourth. Pro-Life does not only consist of Republican Christians. rather, it is a common ground of which many people from many backgrounds can agree upon.. For the simple fact that they value their own lives, the lives of their families, the lives of their friends and the lives of their children. We want more for the people we love than abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. They deserve better. All of us do.
Euthanasia
"Euthanasia violates the principle that each human being has intrinsic dignity and value, regardless of age, physical or mental condition, or state of dependency. Euthanasia seeks to improve the quality of life, not by mutually ennobling acts of care and assistance, but by exterminating those who fall below some arbitrary standard. Killing is never a proper expression of compassion."

Infanticide

How can I help?
Write your senators and/or local politicians to make a difference for children who have been more. Make him or her aware of the desperate need for evaluations for postpartum depression be made mandatory for all hospitals and/or birthing centers in your state. Write your city and make them aware that the need for safe places for mothers to leave their babies where they don't have to fear persecution. Donate your used baby items to your local pregnancy help centers. So many things can be done to help make a difference in the lives of new mothers who, for some reason or another, at some point feel trapped. Lets offer them more options than killing their newborns - if we can't offer them options, then who really is to blame?
