About Me

Hi its just me at the moment,-Adrian. I aim to build a network of musician-friends to work on various projects and discover like minded individuals. I used to play drums and percussion in groups;- chasing the elusive deal blah blah, I was pushing 30 when I discovered what was now possible with the advances in music technology, I went to college and set about building my own recording set-up. I took up playing the flute about 5 years ago and entered the world of melody. Now I work on studio based recordings with an Historic nature. I concentrate on Ancient Civilizations, Indigenous, Vanquished Peoples, Great Battles, Revolutions, Cultural and Musical Clash/Fusion, Folklore, Legend, Myth, etc. I tell each story using appropriate drums, percussion and woodwind instruments, mixed with Orchestral arrangements, Choral/Vocal parts, dialogue, and additional sound effects. The whole thing is set against an interactive backdrop of Ambient noise mixed in 5.1 surround, and in DVD format. I strive for Historical Accuracy, Authenticity, Appropriate Orchestration and hope to travel to each relevant Country, capturing sound bytes, photographs and gathering research material, instruments, crafts and souvenirs etc. - a kind of working holiday! I call this type of project a "Soundscape". I best describe what I do as like a film, but with no pictures, I use a powerful formula to place the listener right inside the work and You conjour images in Your own minds' eye. Occasional Subtitles are about all that will appear on Your screen, but there will be plenty of extra features and factual information. With each Soundscape, I hope to generate charitable funds to put back into Aid, Education/Awareness, Heritage, Restoration, Conservation, Excavation etc etc -whatever is related to that particular theme-whatever I can do! When my studio set-up is complete, in the next few months I aim to start a home study course in music in the media, which is set up by the Los Angeles Film Institute and covers modules in Cartoon/Animation, Radio, Television, Film and PC games. I'm gonna teach myself Latin too so I can write some really doomy Black Requiem stuff! Oh and I need a bigger place! and a Wife!
