saturday night, our reward for enduring the yes sir/no sir toil of the preceding five days our oasis in a desert of midweek bullshit banality, it's your night no ties....no boss....no consequence, tart yourself up, get pissed, cop off/kick off/pass out and it's all eyes on the the taxi meter whilst your kebab goes cold.
if this routine on your night of freedom sets off alarm bells, if you want to do something different, something good, with your saturday night then you should investigate the goings on at the offas tavern, prestatyn, the pigeon fiasco is an alternative to the frankly gash club scene round these parts, at least 4 dj's per night playing the sleaziest indie, soul, rock n roll, punk and ska tunes in town.
we've designed the night to be an alternative to the cretinous caverns we fill on a weekly basis, an anecdote to the 'beak' hovels where gorillas man the door, and the dj plays the same songs week after week after week after week after week, where tank topped buffoons populate the dancefloor to make eyes at the jennifer ellison clones.
