Music - live and recorded, theatre, cabaret, films, books, politics.
Al Gore - it's inspiring to see someone who really cares about something really going after it, and making change. Audra McDonald - she's my favourite singer, and something of an idol. Adam Guettel & Michael John LaChiusa - my two favourite music theatre composers. I find their work a constant source of inspiration. Cate Blanchett - what an incredible actor. William Shakespeare - did you really write all that incredible work? If so THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Jeff Buckley, Musicals, The Dresden Dolls, Lior, Tori Amos - in fact I have very eclectic music tastes. Everything from dance music to System of a Down to classical and opera. If you're interested, check out my music myspace - www.myspace.com/ameliacormackmusic
Human Traffic (all time favourite!), Wit, the Scream trilogy, Anchorman - again quite eclectic tastes. Am generally not too good with horror movies, and violence in film in general. Love a good drama and suspense film though. NO ROM COMS!
Don't get to watch much at the moment, but I have a predilection for British Comedy. Black Books is a particular favourite. Also Arrested Development and Scrubs.
Classics - Dickens, Austen. However I also love the modern novel, particularly the Bronze Horseman books by Paullina Simons. Tend not to read too much non-fiction, am soon to rectify that though.
Audra McDonald, Stephen Sondheim, Adam Guettel, Michael John LaChiusa from the music theatre world. Emma Thompson, Cate Blanchett and Deborah Mailman from the acting world.
