About Me

For those of us of a certain age who can remember what ‘synth-free’ rock and pop sounded like, then OUTRAGE will bring it all flooding back. With their authentic sounds of the ‘60’s. this English four-piece south coast combo is the brainchild of their drummer Mike from Poole who brought the band together with three local lads from Bournemouth, Ringwood, and Salisbury.OUTRAGE follows the classic mix of drums, bass, lead and rhythm guitars, and all members sharing vocals. Previously, the boys have all toured and recorded in many top bands and groups across the country over the years, and this invaluable experience helps them create their authentic sound. They love and care about what they do and it shows. For OUTRAGE it’s mostly about the harmony. Harmony as friends and harmony in the music. Three and four part harmonies are the norm on most songs. Song lists play towards the vocal strengths of each member in the band. Well known and even some obscure gems from, The Beatles, Searchers, Byrds, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, Cliff and The Shadows, Amen Corner, Badfinger, The Bee Gees, and many more, span from early seminal rock & roll, all the way to the end of the sixties decade, and really keep these guys having fun. And someone on stage can usually be heard complaining about how a guy in his 50's shouldn't have to sing this high!!
